Long Game is looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our team. This is a high-impact, high-ownership opportunity for someone wanting to solve a huge societal problem by joining our mission help millenials live with less financial worry.

Long Game is a new type of financial app with an emphasis on user engagement and rewarding users for positive financial behaviors. The primary interaction on Long Game today is that users play simple games of chance where the user can win cash (no money is at risk). The user gets a chance to play these game by saving their own money in a Long Game savings account. Long Game is expanding quickly and is adding to the team business team to support expansion efforts.

What you’ll do:

  • Report to CEO to manage daily & strategic business operations
  • Maintain and develop key business infrastructure, systems, software, intranet, etc.
  • Assist with management of company finances: provide a check for accounts payable, manage budgets, cut unnecessary costs, and own company-wide expense reporting
  • Source, manage, and negotiate business vendor and third party relationships
  • Assist with Customer Support to deeply understand that function and help to design and build (or outsource) that organization
  • Lead the ongoing development & documentation of business policies, processes & procedures and ensure their adherence
  • Understand and help to implement and adhere to Long Game’s compliance policies and procedures
  • Planning events and company-wide travel
  • Be a team player and actively add to our company culture

What you’ll need:

  • Operations, project management, and/or administrative experience
  • Excellent internet and software capabilities including google apps, cloud based business applications, quickbooks, etc
  • Experience with budgeting, prioritization, project management
  • Analytical problem solving abilities
  • A can-do and self-motivated attitude that lets you see what needs to be done and take action without constant direction
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • A serious view on confidentiality and discretion in a  business context
  • A desire to build a career in Operations
  • Be a team player and actively add to our company culture
